Hello world,
My name is Grafin Joseph. I am a Visual Designer based in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.
I recently completed my postgraduate program in interactive media management. I am passionate about creating user-centered designs that balance aesthetics and functionality.
I have always had a love for creating designs. Whenever I learned about designing tools, I was constantly trying to create beautiful designs. The thing that still amazes me about the design is how these natural things and elements got these aesthetically pleasing designs, even for the leaves, flowers, snowflakes, etc.
So, all these kinds of small experiences have helped me to think like a designer and has inspired me to design the smallest things with some meaning.
I started learning Photoshop at the age of 16, and I am still learning and trying to use the tools in different ways every day.
I am a visual designer and UX researcher. I pay close attention to graphics, typography, layout, and color. In my work, I strive to create a user centered layouts for responsive platforms with a modern aesthetic.
Video editing was my second focus in the field of digital media. I also completed a one-year postgraduate degree in broadcasting performance and digital media.
I'm still learning in this field, however I have tried to use After Effects and blender to create some short motion graphics for commercials.
